A study of college students’ openness personality and English learning anxiety

The present situation of college students’ English learning is one the key research topics. Some studies have found that different personality traits a great impact on effect students. However, there still lack detailed analysis and summary specific degree anxiety. Therefore, questionnaire thesis uses developed according to Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS), conducts random surveys for students from regions, majors ages, makes statistical collected data using SPSS explore relationship between openness English-learning anxiety level After discussion analysis, results this study can be divided into two aspects. Firstly, subjects, 60% 408 subjects low about learning, their scores were very close medium (99≤b≤132), while almost only few respondents at high level. Secondly, linear According total score, correlation was 0.338, showing moderate correlation, significance 0.01. results, teachers improve teacher-student relieve by innovating teaching methods evaluation systems. may vary due confounding factors such as major, gender age.
